Sildenafil
Sildenafil is a drug prescribed for treating male erectile dysfunction.
This ED drug acts on the muscle in the penis region. Sildenafil relaxes the muscles, which helps in the increased flow of blood. When then blood flow increases, the penis remains stronger and erected for longer periods.
Sildenafil should be taken about half an hour ahead of sexual activity. Well, you should be careful not to take more than a dose a day. An overdose can only worsen the side effects and you may have many health complications.
Before you take Sildenafil, tell the doctor about all your medical conditions like; heart or coronary artery diseases, liver or kidney problems, high or low blood pressure, blood cell or bleeding disorders, retinitis pigmentosa, stomach ulcer and physical deformity of the penis. If you have these conditions, the doctor may either not recommend the medicine or he may go for dosage adjustment.
It has been said that Sildenafil may cause vision problems. But it has not been proved if the drug causes the vision problems. The Vision problems have been seen only in persons who are diabetic or who have heart problems, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. If you have come across any problems related to the vision while taking the drug, then stop the drug and contact the doctor without any delay.
Alcohol should be avoided while taking Sildenafil. You should also not use other impotency drugs, nitrate drugs and recreational drugs while using Sildenafil.
If you feel any uneasiness or come across any allergic reactions, stop the drug and call your doctor without any delay.
